Best MGD drops I've ever used
I've been suffering from MGD for 10 years now. Have it pretty bad (i.e. lifelong "goggle-wearing", eye-itching multiple-time lipiflow patient bad). Name an MGD focused eye drop on the market and I'll bet good money that I've tried it. The only one that brought a decent amount of relief for me was the Optive Advanced (which used to be called something else way back when but I can't quite remember what). I noticed this new release while picking up my monthly "fix" a few weeks ago. A quick label check showed it had pretty much the same active ingredients as the Optive Advanced with the addition of flaxseed oil and some lipophilics. Figured it wouldn't hurt to give it a go. The first application didn't feel too different from the advanced so I figured at least there was that. I was out of the advanced anyway so I figured I'd just finish this up and switch back.
A few weeks later and Hell No will I be switching back. Caution: I don't want to build up the hopes of a fellow MGD sufferer out there too much. I know how devastating it can be to have new hope dashed. However, for me, after years of wearing goggles and craving my next eye-drop fix, I'm almost back to my pre-MGD days. I can wear my normal glasses, maintain eye contact and even hang out in AC environments without a care in the world. These drops have been life-changing for me and I cannot endorse them more. Of course, just because it works for me doesn't mean it'll work for everyone. It's possible these perfectly resolve inadequacies in my tear film that aren't an issue for you. Still, there's no harm giving them a go and seeing if they're the cure for you too!
