With three cats that like to play in the middle of the night while we’re sleeping, I need good white noise. My husband gets very hot so he needs a fan. I ordered this tower fan and I am very pleased with it. The white noise comes from the sound of the air flow not The sound of a motor. There are a variety of settings including “natural” which creates a variable speed of air that mimics the pattern of real breezes. There is a night setting that slows Down the fan speed through the night and turns off LED light. The velocity of the wind is very helpful when it gets hot. There is a timer that can be turned on and the buttons can be muted, which is a very nice feature when controlling the thing in the middle of the night. I’m very happy with this fan, especially the quietness of the machine leaving the sound of the air.
