Just adopted a 10 week old kitten and wanted to spoil my new baby, Nala. The product came in a huge box and was fairly easy to assemble. It look less than 30 minutes to put together and when it was finally set, Nala immediately took a liking to it and started playing with the little mices hanging form the platforms. While the carpet/faux fur material is extremely soft, it does not seem like it will last a long time. The same goes for the ropes. I'm sure when the time comes, I'll just simply rip out the old ropes and replace it with new ones. I took off two stars because the product arrived damaged. The middle box house is made out of cardboard and was ripped on both sides of the arches. It's still pretty stable and is still holding up, but the packaging should be taken more into consideration. To recap, here are some of the pros and cons that I would like to note: PROS: * Easy to set up * Instruction manual / nail sizes were very clear * Strong base CONS: * Product arrived damaged Overall, this product is NALA-APPROVED, but be aware that because of how fragile the box house is, there is a possibility that it will arrive damaged like mine. ___ Update: I have returned the last one and received a brand new replacement. It arrived in mint condition and like before, Nala has been glued to it. Like many of you, I depend on honest reviews from honest reviewers when researching and deciding to purchase a product.
