December 2022 Update: Still Seems to be working in high rise building bed bug infestation
December 2022 UPDATE:
I bought a third unit for my living room. The entire 9th and 7th floors are infested with bedbugs. And still, I haven’t had any problems in my apartment. I wanted the unit for the living room just for peace of mind. There’s one in my kitchen and one in my bedroom. Every time I clean I check for bugs. Even the little spiders don’t bother coming in. I’ve spoken to our executive director about these units but he wasn’t amenable to the idea primarily because we lack the funding to cover the cost of these in bulk even though I presented the value of them against the high cost contract with local pest “control” (HAHA…like bugs can really BE controlled). As long as *we* are bug free, I’m fine. These devices DO work.
September 2022 Update:
As of today, me and the other tenants who bought and are using the NeatMaster have not had ANY type of bugs at all! The former tenant who lived directly across from me attracted bugs because he wouldn’t clean his apartment (he’s mentally unstable), and maintenance gave me the heads up when they discovered just how infested his place was. At first I admit I was a bit concerned because I thought there was no way my 2 units could work against what they found in his place, and prayed they wouldn’t cross the short distance between apartments. It took them close to 3 months to evict him but I did NOT get ANY bugs anywhere in my place! During the summer there were teeny tiny, bouncy spiders OUTSIDE my windows that my cat would eye hopefully. Only ONE got in and gave my cat the joy of watching it hop every time he tried to pat it. I’m getting 2 more units: one for my bathroom and the other for the living room. The kitchen is STILL clear as is our bedroom.
I STILL highly recommend the NeatMaster after seeing the results for myself.

I bought this after reviewing recommendations on five different product test sites…NeatMaster ranked highest on 3 out of the five. I live in a high rise building in which we have had a bed bug infestation for about two years. When visiting another tenant I noticed she had an ultrasonic pest repeller. When the situation got bad she moved out (she’s in her 80s). However, when Orkin was finally hired to help, her apartment was one of the few that didn’t have ANY evidence of bed bugs-no eggs, excreta, nothing. I remembered the repeller she had and I began my search, which led me to NeatMaster. I bought two units-one for my small living room, the other for my bedroom on April 19, 2021. It’s now May 22 and so far only one bed bug has appeared and I was able to catch and kill it. My place has been inspected several times and there is no evidence anywhere in my place of bed bugs. I mentioned NeatMaster to another tenant who’d found some when Orkin inspected and since he’s been using NeatMaster (his arrived before mine did, around April 22nd), his following inspection came up CLEAR of bed bugs. He told another tenant across the hall from him who is COVERED with bites (in her 80s), and as of last week she has not been bitten for 4 nights straight! Our office manager bought two because she’s got spiders, to which she’s extremely allergic, in her home and I’m waiting to hear if NeatMaster is helping. Another tenant bought two units after she found one bed bug on her window sill and as of last week she told me she hasn’t found any more. If these units prove they’re working, I’m going to speak to our executive director and put in a request to buy more for the building IF we can get the funding to cover the cost as we are a H.U.D. housing facility for disabled and elderly folks. I really hope they are really working for us.
