I needed a miter saw to do some flooring and trim work. I am sure I will use it in other DIY projects. I searched a lot of big box stores for a miter saw, but did not want to spend 300.00 on one, knowing I would use it once in a while. It makes a square cut and works fine for the price. It is very light weight and could be transported easily. I will say the reason it’s light weight is the thinner plastic and thinner base. This is not a heavier duty saw , but a good one for a homeowner. Pros Price $100.00 w/ with a saw blade Cuts straight 15amp motor Cons: Only bevels left Short cord 3.5’ Cheaper materials
