I'm not sure why I thought that this was too good to be true. On Amazon Prime day a king size one of these bad boys was about $400. It's the best purchase I've made in my adult life. (The $2 I spent to see Emily's boobs on the bus in 6th grade being the best purchase I made in my childhood.) There was almost no smell. The bed itself inflated in just a couple hours. I've never had a better nights' sleep. I'd say its medium to medium firm. The edge support is okay. Better than other memory foam mattresses I've tried, but nothing compared to a traditional mattress. BUT compared to a traditional mattress I no longer get woken up when my wife goes into alligator roll mode (I still lose the battle of the blankets though.) and I don't get overheated at night anymore. If I can get this quality and 10 years out of it I know exactly who I am coming back to when its time again for a mattress.
