I am doing a review of 4 different brands of male dog belly bands that I purchased on Amazon because I wanted to find the best dog belly bands. I have rescue dogs that still try to mark in the house and sometimes have accidents. These are the brands I tried: Male Dog Belly Band Wraps Washable Diapers (3 Pack) by Mkono, Brooke's Best Belly Bands for Male Dogs 2 pack (M, Red with Black Dots/Cow print), Wegreeco Washable Dog Diapers - Washable Male Dog Belly Wrap- Pack of 3,(Small), HTKJ Washable Male Dog Belly Band (Pack of 4) with Velcro Reusable Durable Dog Diapers Wrap for Small Medium Pet Dog (S) Packaging: 1.Male Dog Belly Band Wraps Washable Diapers (3 Pack) by Mkono came is the re-sealable plastic bag with care instructions. 2.Brooke's Best Belly Bands for Male Dogs 2 pack (M, Red with Black Dots/Cow print)came in this nice box with a card inviting you to join a VIP club for additional warranty and free products and discount codes. The belly bands are individually wrapped in plastic bags. 3. Wegreeco Washable Dog Diapers - Washable Male Dog Belly Wrap- Pack of 3,(Small)came in a plastic bag 4. HTKJ Washable Male Dog Belly Band (Pack of 4) with Velcro Reusable Durable Dog Diapers Wrap for Small Medium Pet Dog (S) came in a white poly bag with 2 bands in plastic bags. Male Dog Belly Band Wraps Washable Diapers (3 Pack) by Mkono – You get 3 colors- yellow, white and blue. You don’t get to choose colors. It has curved shape and strong Velcro. It is made out of thin knit cotton material. It seemed too thin to me. It has a small mesh pocket to hold a disposable pad, but it is smaller than any pads so you would have to cut one to fit. I don’t like that it is not waterproof. My dog did soak through it. Another thing I did not like about this belly band is the tag. My dog tried to get the band off and was able to pull on the tag. Brooke's Best Belly Bands for Male Dogs 2 pack (M, Red with Black Dots/Cow print). I ordered the red with black dots and the cow print. You have a choice of this combination or an orange print and brown dog print. It has elastic edges that help it fit close to the dog’s belly. This also has strong Velcro that my dog was not able to get off. It is made out of a waterproof fabric. It has a built in mesh pocket to hold a disposable pad. This mesh pocket was large enough to hold a pad without having to cut it. I had my dog wear this both with a pad and without. Nothing leaked or soaked through either way. I like that the Brooke's Best Belly Bands for Male Dogs 2 pack (M, Red with Black Dots/Cow print) belly band doesn’t have a tag because my dog would try to pull at the ones with tags. Wegreeco Washable Dog Diapers - Washable Male Dog Belly Wrap- Pack of 3,(Small)- this comes in blue, green and purple – you don’t get to choose colors. It has elastic edges like the Brooke’s Best. It also has the strong Velcro and waterproof fabric. It has padding built in that does absorb the urine. It is thicker than the other belly bands. My dog was not able to soak through this one either. One thing I did notice is that since the padding was built in, I was harder to get the urine smell out when washing it. This one also has a tag that my dog kept biting at. HTKJ Washable Male Dog Belly Band (Pack of 4) with Velcro Reusable Durable Dog Diapers Wrap for Small Medium Pet Dog (S)- this comes in 4 different patterns. You don’t get to choose. The patterns look very juvenile. The material is very thin polyester. You can see daylight through it. The Velcro is strong. It has a mesh pouch but it was too small to hold a disposable pad. My dog was able to soak through this belly band easily. It also did not fit very snug. Overall, this belly band is seems very cheap compared to the other 3. In conclusion, of the 4 different belly bands I tried, I like the Brooke's Best Belly Bands for Male Dogs 2 pack (M, Red with Black Dots/Cow print) the best. The packaging was nicer than the other – It looks like it came from boutique. Which would be nice if you were sending it to someone. I also like the choice of pattern/colors. The Mkono, Male Dog Belly Band Wraps Washable Diapers (3 Pack) by Mkono Wegreeco Washable Dog Diapers - Washable Male Dog Belly Wrap- Pack of 3,(Small), and HTKJ didn’t offer choice. Both the Brooke's Best Belly Bands for Male Dogs 2 pack (M, Red with Black Dots/Cow print) and Wegreeco Washable Dog Diapers - Washable Male Dog Belly Wrap- Pack of 3,(Small) worked well and did not leak. The Brooke's Best Belly Bands for Male Dogs 2 pack (M, Red with Black Dots/Cow print) has the option to use with a pad or not. At first I thought the Wegreeco Washable Dog Diapers - Washable Male Dog Belly Wrap- Pack of 3,(Small) would be better with the built in padding, but I found that since this absorbed the urine, it was harder to get rid of the urine smell when washing. All 4 brands are machine washable. And can be dried in the dryer except for the HTKJ Washable Male Dog Belly Band (Pack of 4) with Velcro Reusable Durable Dog Diapers Wrap for Small Medium Pet Dog (S). The Brooke's Best Belly Bands for Male Dogs 2 pack (M, Red with Black Dots/Cow print) has a 100% money back guarantee. Even though I won’t be returning them, it was no risk to try them. The other 3 brands didn’t offer this.
