On July 2, 2018 I was in an auto wreck. My 6 lb chihuahua was thrown into the dashboard & broke her neck. She died in my arms in that intersection. If she had been belted in, she may have survived. It was gut-wrenching to watch her die...and breaks my heart that something this simple might have saved her. My 8 lb chihuahua was thrown to the floor & survived the impact. She was bruised & chipped a tooth, but she is otherwise good. Going forward, she rides in a harness & seatbelt in the back seat. This is the best money you will ever spend. I bought 10 of these harnesses to donate to a local small dog adoption place so people who adopt a small dog will go home with a doggie seat belt.
