Unrealized Uses - Makes General Household Cleaning Easy
ONE YEAR REVIEW -
Got this to initially tackle a filthy 'new-to-me' car. I have since used it on every inch of household, some places it rocked, some it did not.
Where this thing SHINES!
-Removing grime from crevices (cup holders in the car, dirt around sink etc)
-Getting very stubborn stains out of fabric
-General cleaning (this steamer can actually remove very stubborn dirt that nothing in a spray bottle could touch)
-Steam sanitizing (still hesitant to call it sanitizing)
-It makes cleaning a LOT more inviting due to making it easier overall
Where it doesn't...
-Cleaning something like motor grease. Albeit I think this is more a result of the steam as a method and not this specific product.
-Heat up time (remedy this by adding hot tap water), takes maybe 25 mins to heat a full tank with room temp water
-Has a bit up spit up if it sits unused for a few minutes. Just be mindful and spray it offsite to purge the hose (this is completely expected cause the steam>water thing...)
-It's not definitely not an extractor, it works great to clean surface muck but won't pull liquid/dirt/grease out of something like a car seat
-Struggles with that stubborn bathtub staining that happens at the basin (tip: try hot distilled white vinegar and dawn soap-works amazing)
The photos are of some B&A of a filthy Honda Element I picked up - stained flooring, dirt packed into the seats etc.
WRAPUP: Overall good value, didn't putter our after a year of use. The attachments are useful but I us the plain spray nozzle most.
