Keep them fat and dumb with meaningless drivel
The heart ache and break of rural, middle America overlooked and undervalued by media moguls pushing teeny bop pop songs written by fat, bald men in their 40s and sold to teenagers to give our youth musical diabetes. Keep them fat and dumb with meaningless drivel, with a shelf life maybe a summer's worth of top 40 plays on the radio until their creation (abomination) rots away, littering the musical landscape with detritus. Our youth have been subjected to the likes of Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. No emphasis on learning music, better to play dress up and learn how to dance. Give the kids shiny things, and bright lights so they don't realize they're eating musical junk food, day in and day out. Tyler's music comes from the dirt, from the bones of the earth. There is honesty in his lyrics, and a story that can't be kept under wraps. We are entering a golden age of music for people like Tyler and his kin. People who don't want musical diabetes, but want something with fiber to it. Something meaningful, something you'd be proud for your grandparents to hear.
