I waited 17 months to write this. I put the knife through its paces.
This is a fantastic knife. The edge is as sharp as the day I bought it. I love the feel of this knife in my hand, it's perfectly balanced, the angle at the front of the handle allows you to hold it right over the balance point, and it'll make you wonder how you ever used other knives that didn't even try to be balanced. I've used this knife for every kitchen task a knife can be put through, and it's handled them better than any other knife I've ever used. Their isn't a better knife within hundreds of dollars of the price of this knife. I love my knife, it was worth every penny, and at this point even more to me.
