I feel like I shouldn't like these, and I definitely wouldn't wear them with just anything, but on strictly all black with white accents days, I find them oddly... minimalist chic? And of course they're squishy and comfortable and easy to slip on and off and even easier to wash, but is that really the point? No. The point is that these are like walking on rain clouds, y'all.
