Last year, my 12 yr old, Maggie, (25 lbs) started fully releasing her bladder when she slept. I took her to the vet and they ran a bunch of tests. After all the tests and hundreds of dollars, they told me she has incontinence due to her age. They put her on proin. I wish I had read up on proin, because shortly after, she became completely blind. Like over night. The vet told me it was a coincidence. I'm not convinced. That's when I started looking for alternatives for proin and purchased this product. She's now been on these supplements for a couple of months. I first did the combination with the proin, weaning her off of the proin completely. On the one tablet per day, she continued to have accidents, so I just adjusted the intake. And though it's recommended one tablet per day for her weight, it also suggests if you give more, to split through out the am/pm. So I now give her a half a tablet with her morning meal, a half with her evening meal and a full tablet right before bed. So far, so good. I'm now purchasing a second bottle. The only con with these tablets, the really stink. But she likes them, so what do I know. I hope you found this review helpful.
