We have a bathroom with a small window, facing North, that is constantly being used for a shower or bath (2 adults and 2 young kids), so we are always fighting mold and mildew issues, not only around the tub and shower caulking, but up until now, also the shower curtain liners. We have usually either bought ones that you can clean (end up getting torn up after washing), or guiltily buying ones that are throw-away. I decided to try this one out, not expecting much, but after 6 months of continuous use, not ONE indication of mildew! Amazing! Finally a product that delivers on it's promise. This is one of those things you expect to see touted on late night infomercials by a sleazy, loud huckster, but this thing actually does what it promises. Highly HIGHLY recommended. UPDATE after a year and half of use...STILL going strong and only a few tiny spots of mildew, which is easily wiped off. I feel kind of crazy harping on about a shower curtain like this, but as I said before, something in this day and age that actually does/is what it says in the marketing, is worthy of praise. I'm starting to wonder if I will ever need to buy another shower curtain, and I bet the manufacturer is questioning whether or not they should have made something SO good given the lack of replacement buying!
