A friend highly recommended this book to me, so I took the plunge and ordered it. I have been an avid knitter for many, many years and only dabbled in crochet but did want to become more proficient. This book was everything my friend claimed it to be and more. Each technique is explained clearly and has many pictures to show exactly what is being explained. It seems to cover every stitch needed to start and complete a project. I had purchased a different book at twice the cost from a local craft shop and was disappointed in it's content. The Crochet Techniques and Tips far surpasses the more expense book. Would I recommend this book to others? Absolutely!
