This may be embarrassing but it might help the next person. I got this originally because of constant and sometimes painful itching/rashlike feeling around my anus and lower scrotum. Using this cream would allow me peace at work without suppressing every urge to itch in front of peers, and to sleep at night without being awoken by the insane urge to sate the itch. What I later discovered was, because i'd never read up on and so never invested in, technical underwear. I do a lot of Hiking and running. What was happening was that I was getting Chafed from both sweat (salts acting like sand paper on your sensitive areas) and plain old rubbing of parts. I invested in some sport / moisture wicking Boxer Briefs to help hold my goodies in place & wick away sweat, and combined with Gold Bond body powder before my activities, all of this itching sensation completely went away and i've no longer had to use this cream. + because it works. just... maybe you don't actually need it if you have something completely preventable in the first place.
