There are actually 6 screens of instructions in this game, however even after reading them, the object of the game is still very unclear. But, I think I've figured it out. Here are my instructions. Start with the EASY level. The object of the game is to make groups of matching numbers to make them explode and go away. You must do this before a column gets full and reaches the top. When it reaches the top, AND, another row of numbers pops up at the bottom, GAME OVER. To make groups, you have to start filling up your empty columns with number bubbles. The number bubbles are given to you 3 at a time in the upper left of the screen, I call it the "Drop Box". When you tap a column, the top number from the "Drop Box" drops down into the column you tapped, and another number bubble pops up at the bottom of your "Drop Box", so there will always be 3 number bubbles showing. Since you know the next number bubbles coming up, you can plan a strategy to group numbers for explosion (ie. drop a 5 next to some 5's), or drop numbers to merge to make an explosion (ie, drop a 2 next to or over a 3 that's near a 5, merge the 2 & 3 to make a 5, now you have a group of 2-5's). The key to winning this game is understanding that you can merge numbers in the columns together to make another number. To Merge, simply drag a bubble over another bubble. You can merge any neighoring bubbles together, as long as their SUM is LESS THAN or EQUAL to the MAX given (MAX starts at 5). You MUST merge numbers sometimes to collapse a column that gets too tall. My tip is to merge as many bubbles as possible to create a bubble whose SUM is the MAX number, shown in the lower left. (ie, merge a 2&3, 1&1&3, 1&4 etc. to make 5's) Pay attention to the UP counter, which tells you how many bubbles you've dropped. When the counter is maxed, another row of bubbles will come up from the bottom, which could push you to the top and end your game if you are too close to the top. Merge some bubbles out of the taller columns if you can to keep your game from ending. When you EXPLODE groups of numbers, you get points that get you to the next level. So, try to explode groups of high numbers, which are worth more points, and use the lower numbers to merge to the larger numbers. It seems that groupings of #1 bubbles don't explode, so use them to merge with other bubbles to make larger numbers. However, groups of at least 2 of the #2 bubbles explode, at least 3 of the #3's, 4 of the #4's, and so on. Sometimes, you have to explode groups of smaller numbers to reduce your column height, but try to merge as many as possible to the MAX number. If you do this, you will eventually get to the next MAX. Sometimes, you may want to merge two bubbles just to make another bubble fall into line with a group that will then EXPLODE. Here is a tip: If you have say a group of 4-5's that will explode as soon as you put 1 more 5 next to them, and you see a 2, 3, & 5 coming up in your bubble drop box, then drop EACH number near the group of 5's making sure the 2 & 3 are near each other, THEN you can merge the 2 & 3 you just dropped to make a 5. By dropping all 3 numbers, you will make a group of 6-5's which is worth more points. If you had merged the 2 & 3 before you dropped that next 5 coming up, your group would explode with 5-5's and you would miss out on some extra points that the 6th 5 would give you. That's why you have to pay attention to each number coming up in the drop box and Strategize. I hope that makes sense. The game gets harder as you reach higher MAX numbers because you need a group of at least 6-6's, 7-7's, 8-8's etc. to EXPLODE them away. There are fewer smaller number bubbles to merge together to make the larger numbers. But it can be done. I hope my explanation helps you have as much fun with this game as I have had. Good luck.
