I never write reviews but for this item I truly felt the need. It's VERY scary purchasing one of these with the intention of preparing your Thanksgiving turkey day of in it. It "claims" it can cook a 20lb turkey in two hours. It "claims" it's selfbasting and that your end result will be perfect. It "claims" it frees up oven space and less stressful. I'm here to tell you I was terrified we were going to end up with Chinese take out on Thanksgiving day but I just didn't have enough oven space to do it all - so I tried it. From this point forward I will NEVER cook a turkey in the oven again !! This little gem did EVERYTHING it "claimed" and then some!! Our turkey was praised by everyone and I can tell you it was seriously moist and cooked to perfection. It really did cook it in the two hours (I had to try and slow down because I left 4 hours not sure it was accurate). I can't wait for Christmas to put my ham in it!! Don't be scared - you won't regret this purchase!!
