Alright I read the reviews before buying so I knew what I was getting myself into. I've been using these for a month now. The tweak: You have to drill the holes bigger. Start with the smallest drill bit you have (I used 1/16) and drill every other hole in the top bigger. Then take the next size up (I used 7/64) and drill alternating holes bigger. I actually ended up liking how the alternating hole sizes looked more anyways. This helped let more of my essential oil scent out and now they work great! Don't tip them upside down because the bottle inside will spill! When I notice the smell is fading I just shake it so the oil in the glass bottle soaks the wood cork inside again.
