I could not be happier with this toothbrush! I first bought a sonic type, and it just vibrated. It didn't feel like it was doing anything. Also, because of the larger size and because I have a small mouth, sometimes it would accidentally bang against my teeth. This one is perfect. I love that it oscillates and rotates instead of just vibrating like a sonic type. I don't use the bluetooth, never will, don't care about it. I got the 3000 instead of the 1000 for other features. As far as the reviewer that complained about the gunk collecting on the charger platform, yes it does a little, and you can simply wipe it off now and then--very easy to clean, comes right off with a tissue or whatever. My teeth are definitely whiter and cleaner than they have ever been. I actually love brushing now and can hardly wait for my next check up. The customer service is excellent. They will answer any questions and sent me coupons for discounts on replacement brush heads. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made.
