I moved from state to state via airplane with my two cocker spaniels it was there first flight so it was very nerve racking lol. While sitting on the floor one of the pups whined a little I managed to stick my hand through the bag to pet him once we got in the air i unzipped the bags to give them more adequate space to stretch they instantly stopped whining and slept the whole flight comfortably. This bag is well worth it and sturdy. The only semi complaint was walking them through the airplane wasn’t comfortable with the straps but that’s because my dogs are a bit heavy a smaller dog would probably be a little more comforting to carry around through the airport. I was lucky that a tsa employee allowed me to walk them through the airport on leash and then place them back in the bags before takeoff. Highly recommend .
