I'll be honest, I knew nothing about the science of positive ions or negative ions or ultrasonic technology in skin care. I recieved this gadget and felt a little intimidated by it. I started playing around with it and wasn't sure it was doing anything but vibrating. I used the Nutri + setting several times and noticed after applying my evening serum and using the device I felt it really penetrated my skin. I was very surprised that my skin felt deeply hydrated when I woke in the morning, something that never happens! This device really makes your skin like a sponge fulling absorbing your serum. I haven't tried it with a cream yet, I ordered a water based retinol cream and will be trying that next. After getting used to the Nutri + setting I played with the Cleaning setting which uses negative Ions to pull dirt from your skin to the metal head. This one really floored me! I saturated a cotton round with Aloe liquid and used the Ultrasonic, then Clean - setting with the massage function. I could feel a slight tingling sensation and a bit of a sting as I went over my nose. The cotton round had dirt on it that I thought my cleanser got to. Not only that my nose was so clean it shined like glass. This was a great buy!
