I was using the trap for chipmunks and I caught 2 so far. I also caught squirrels in it and let them go. The trap is easy to set and release and it triggers and traps well. I have been using sunflower seeds and they really like them. My only issue was that the seeds fall through the bottom so I cut cardboard to put in the bottom rear. Peanut butter should work well on the trap release panel, I just haven’t tried it yet. Tips on operation since mine didn’t have instructions: To open be sure to pull up the sliding lock that falls to the bottom of the door. Also make sure the straight rod on top is going through the top handle loop then folds back and goes int the small circle coming up from the trigger panel. The pressure of the spring will hold the rod in place.
