Exactly what I hoped for I figured they weren't going to be soft but I feel if it's soft it falls apart easily. But these are nice and tough I keep using 2 towels to dry my hands but that's just cuz I'm use to using 2 honestly I think one would do the job. The texture feels like cottonells wrinkles but rough. I can't express how happy I am with these, used these to replace buying bounty paper towels
