Measured hardness professionally before installing. It was 210 - very hard. Will come back to this feedback every week to see changes and report.
For tight spaces you have to know the length of the coil before installation. On 3/4" pipe it's 4.25". Also you don't know if you can cross red and blue wires as they come out of the box because in my setup water flow is from right to left. So my box is facing wall not to cross them.
In seven days hardness dropped to 160 ppm. Will be coming back to this once a week to tell what changed.
Second week brought hardness to 140 ppm. Manual is saying though that unit "will not affect hardness measured by traditional test" and with this type of water conditioner the results can be measured by observing changes in scale forming areas. So I'll report any changes as I see them.
In three weeks it's 130 ppm.It looks like the ball on the bottom of my electrical kettle is still shiny, I had to clean it monthly with vinegar or baking soda.
