This stuff is actually pretty good. I am a food junkie so I was not expecting this to taste great. I am not looking for a great meal when I am in a situation where I just need food, but when I tasted one of the meals I was very impressed. I would rather eat one of the packets of food in my Mountain House then any fast food out there. I laughed because my wife likes it and she says " I like it but it has too much salt and even though I like salt it will affect my high blood pressure ". I told her she could starve or have high blood pressure. Of coarse the reply was well what do you do when I have a stroke because of it. I just smiled and told her I would take care of her even if she was paralyzed and drooling. lol Seriously though it does taste pretty good.
