Seems like (and probably is) just wood glue
Prior to using Mulch Glue using a leaf blower in our yard, even at the absolute lowest setting, was impossible. The mulch would blow away as easily as the dead leaves and debris. Totally unacceptable. After applying Mulch Glue, cleanup with a leaf blower at low setting is possible, and is a huge improvement. If you're expecting Mulch Glue to seal your mulch like some kind of decoupage you'll be disappointed. But if you want it to be locked down "just enough", it'll work. Now the really bad part. Mulch Glue is ridiculously expensive. Its texture, smell, and characteristics are exactly like wood glues I've frequently used. So, I bought an $18 gallon of Titebond II wood glue, diluted it one part glue to two parts water, and applied it to mulch I had not previously glued. IMO, the Titebond II outperformed the Mulch Glue at less than 1/3 the cost. I finished the remainder of our yard with Titebond. Also, a $15 garden sprayer from Amazon worked very well.
