Bought this to be able to take a toy for traveling. It's great, just take it out at the hotel or whatever destination and you have an instant mat, drawing board and a bunch of little extras (stencils, foam figures, and a little book) that come with it. Usually, us, the adults end up drawing more than the kids. Ha! Folds easily and fits in any bag. I do have to say that due to folding the mat, it is deteriorating from the creases it gets from being and staying folded. Also if you spill water for a long time from the pens, the water stain stays. Be sure to not let the pens sit on the mat when not in use.
