5 star joy factor! Nice size for years of fun.
I have read most of the reviews on this product and am convinced those negative reviews written must have been for a different product or by a competitor trying to sabotage this seller.
First, this thing is big compared to many of the other "kids" tents I considered. It measures as described and I feel it is appropriate for a toddler to about 10 years old. I bought this for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday and she is thrilled. It is big enough for me to get in it and play or read with her. She could easily play with 2-3 other toddlers in it. It would be a cozy little ready nook in any childs room.
Second, it was so easy to put together. Even if it didn't come with the drawing/numbered instruction sheet its assembly would be easy for anyone with an iota of common sense...just saying.
Third, It is made of decent light weight material for a PLAY tent for indoor or outdoor use. It is not a camping tent, a party gazebo, or an adult size product. It is the appropriate quality for a pretend princess castle and it meets its purpose without question. It is certainly sturdy enough for years of use as long as it is not used as a jungle gym, or climbing toy. It is clearly not a climbing toy why would anyone expect it to be?
Finally, I have enjoyed playing with my granddaughter in this castle and do not hesitate recommending it. It was a wonderful gift for my little princess (she is Rapunzel this week) and worth every penny. I feel its size, construction, and ease of assembly excellent and worthy of 5 stars. The joy factor priceless.
I am not reviewing the lights. I did not put the stars lights on the tent. I feel a 3 year old does not need light wires hanging on her tent even if they are low voltage. So, no comment about the lights. They looked fine in that package but were not selling point to me.
