I gave 5 stars because this is exactly what I needed. I have tinnitus and it helps me fall asleep if I have something to listen to because it drowns out the consistent ringing in my ears. At the same time I need to be able to hear other sounds at night in case of emergency. This headband with earphones is perfect for my needs. The headband is comfortable and I pull it down over my eyes for darkness. The sound is just right so I can still hear if someone is moving around in the house in the middle of the night or if the alarm sound, or even if the dogs bark. I love that I can machine wash the soft stretchy material and put the electronic components back in. It synchronized easily with my phone and the instructions are short and simple to understand. I'm going to order another one as a gift. Item was packaged in a nice compact box and it arrived quickly. I recommend this headband for anyone that needs to still be able to hear while they are listening to music, an audiobook, or sleep meditations, or if they need to hear traffic while on their daily walk or run.
