Just getting started, but so far so good... very good, in fact.
This was my first order from BulkSupplements and this stuff is amazing!!! I've been losing weight on my own for about 2 months now. At my heaviest I was 212 lbs. Dieting was (and is) terrible, but I was tired of feeling so lethargic (despite regular exercise) and I was tired of getting that 2:30 crash every afternoon. So I stopped eating lunch and replaced it with a meal replacement shake. On top of that, I started having only fruits, veggies, and yogurt for dinner. Please note I only do this Mon-Thurs, the weekends were still mine to eat what I liked (otherwise I'd probably go postal). Anyway, I'm down 15 lbs now, but I'm aiming for 185. Some weeks I would lose a few lbs, other weeks I'd put on half a lb. It was very frustrating. I started taking the CLA supplement from BulkSupplements 4 days ago and I'm already noticing a big difference. I'm down 3.2 lbs in 4 days maintaining the eating habits I mentioned above but adding 2 softgels before breakfast and 2 more before dinner. Beyond the weight loss, I feel great!!! Now granted, it's only been 4 days, but the changes are very real. I can't wait to see what happens over the next month, or two months. I'll have to post again, I guess. Oh, and one other thing I think is important to know - there are no stimulants involved here. I inherited a heart palpitation from my mom, so I'm very cautious about taking anything with a stimulant in it (coffee being the only exception and even that is in very limited doses). I'm no doctor and I'm certainly not an expert simply because I did a couple of hours research on the net, but my understanding of CLA is that it helps prevent your cells from converting excess food into fat. Based on what I've read and my own experience (so far) I think there's another component - it has also been used in the past as a mild laxative. I'm anticipating those effects to subside as my body gets more and more used to it, but in the meantime it's really not that bad. No pain, no stomach bubbles, no urgency or anything like that, but a very noticeable difference once you're there. Sorry if that was TMI, but as a consumer I think it's better to know up front rather than being surprised later. The only potentially negative side effect I could find online is that it could prevent pregnancy in women, so if you're a woman and trying to get pregnant or have recently become pregnant, it's probably best to stay away for now. Here again, I'm no expert, but better safe than sorry.
