Low Impact Jumping Is Going To Help Me Build Bone Mass
I have osteoporosis and besides that, over 30 years ago when I was in my early 30s, I had a complete hip replacement. Because of that, high impact exercising is out of the question.
My Doctor told me Never to run, jump, bend or move certain ways. Certain things can pop a hip right out of the socket. A few years ago after I had a hip revision, he told me to get a mini tramp because they provide low impact exercising that will help build the bone mass I am losing with the osteoporosis.
The Ancheer Foldable Mini Trampoline came in last week and I have been testing it out daily. I am a small older woman, and I find this mini tramp easy to set up, tear down and move about.
The springs (32 Of them) are strong and I don't feel like I will fall using this... Plus, there is a cover that goes over the springs so you don't pinch your skin when you sit on it to do certain exercises. I suggest you leave the protective spring cover on when exercising and jumping. If your foot would go through the springs, you could get hurt pretty badly. The spring cover for me is a nice safety feature.
There are 6 rows of sewing that hold the trampoline onto the springs. It is very well sewn and looks like it will never come apart there. The part you jump on also looks to be a very sturdy nylon type material.
The 8 legs of the mini tramp are 7 1/2 inches each with a plastic cover over each bottom. They are made of a heavy metal that screws to the bottom of the base. When fully set up it measures almost 38 inches across and almost 9 inches high. (37.4 X 8.6).
Pros:
. Easy to assemble
. Easy to carry
. Feels very sturdy under my feet. That is important since I lose my balance easily.
Cons:
Honestly, I can't think of anything wrong with this. It is something I have been looking for and I really like it.
Check out my video. I show the set up, (tear down is just reversed so I didn't show that, but it is easy) I did a few jumping jacks in the video, plus I ran in place. That is something I haven't done in years. I feel so blessed for getting the chance to do this review. I am so thankful.
