This review isn't to tell you how great Saxon Math is, we all know that already. This is to tell you the the "Kit" that is referred to is the brand-new hard-cover text book, the homeschool Testing Book, AND the Answer Key to the text book - three separate books. The Answer key is JUST answers, if you want to know how to work every problem in the text book, then you want to order the CDs or the Solutions manual in addition to this kit. Don't let the "Homeschool Testing Book" trick you; when you first open the book, the first 66 pages are the solutions to the test, so you are asking yourself: "WHERE are the tests!?!?!" The actual tests are the LAST 35 or so pages of the book. If you don't flip through to the back of the book, you might miss the tests! When I ordered this kit through amazon, I didn't see any description what actually came in the kit, so I thought it was just going to be the text book. So, I am pleasantly surprised! I hope this helps you as your are ordering.
