A baby rat! That poor thing got stuck the morning and struggled to get out. I tried to help by shaking the trap up and down and left and right, but that only got the rat stuck on more sides. Poor thing was squeaking and freaking me out! I had a spider problem but sure wasn't prepared to deal with rats! Finally I grabbed a bolt that was lying around and peeled it off the interior of the trap. It was quite a traumatizing experience. I felt I got more than what I asked for. I may need counselling.
