This lamp will work like a champ if you add an extra step during installation.
This light has been working great for the last year and a half and it has experienced all the variations of weather (rain, heavy rain, snow, fog, hail, sun, and high winds). After reading the many negative reviews - I modified the unit by waterproofing the light with a silicone adhesive bead around all the joints and any place where I thought water could wick into this unit. So far this unit has worked without a hiccup. Also I'm using LED lamps (Hyperkon par 38 - 3000K).
