I balked at buying this (Kon-Peki) at $25, so when it went down to $16 I jumped at it. I'm a fountain pen neophyte, but I have to say, this ink has me making up reasons to write with it. I just enjoy it. It has a presence that other inks I've used haven't had. It keeps on making me smile. I have a thing about only using blue ink during Republican administrations as a quiet (inaudible) form of protest, but at this rate, it's hard to imagine going back to black in 2020. UPDATE: The neighbor kid who watched our cat while we were away stole it. Evidently the bottle was irresistibly tantalizing to the pre-teen, North American male. I slyly asked his mother whether she'd noticed it, hoping that she would catch my drift and investigate without forcing me to openly accuse her son of theft. But she didn't. So, rather than endure that moment of awkwardness, I've ordered a second bottle... which happens to be irresistibly tantalizing to this forty-something, North American male. The boy won't be watching the cat again. And he better stay off my lawn.
