These panels dampen the sound well! I made a home office, and the door alone was terrible at masking sound. With the panels, you can still hear sound from the other room but you can't really make out the words unless you really concentrate. I can finally be on the phone without getting distracted by noise on the other side. I ended up soaking them in my bathtub, ringing them out, and then putting them in the dryer on medium heat. It took about 60 mins for them to dry fully, and I kept checking every 10 mins. As you can see, drying didn't damage them at all. I used Scotch double-sided mounting tape for indoor interior and it sticks perfectly. Very happy with the panels!
