Sellers need to be crystal clear about how they measure their products so the customer can figure out if this is the correct item. Large, small, only one dimension etc are totally inadequate. I have recently learned that there is only one description input to Amazon, but that several sellers may actually sell the item. I know it may be out of our control, but if more people complain about inadequate information, perhaps they will change... but I won't hold my breath. Even the vendors have trouble correcting misinformation. The first vendor I contacted never did respond in a meaningful way, so I moved on to a different vendor and a different gasket. Fortunately, SCS Collectibles, Inc (ToysNGamesEtc) responded that theirs was indeed the one I was trying to locate. I needed replacement gaskets for my clamp top jars. I know some say not to measure used gaskets as they stretch, but I figured with enough information, I could find the correct replacement. I have already made the mistake of not checking first, and getting the wrong size. gasket outside diameter is 4" or 100mm gasket inside diameter is 2-7/8" or 73mm jar width of opening is 3-1/2" or 85mm I ordered and received my gaskets within just a couple of days. I would definitely buy from this vendor again. BTW, I really do prefer the Bormioli Fido gasket in white as it blends in better and the gaskets fit all my jars.
