Doesn't really measure body fat, muscle mass, or water weight.
I've been using this scale for about 6 months. This scale claims to measure weight, body fat, muscle mass, and water weight. However, it seems to only measure weight accurately. The very first time I used it I noticed that the body fat measurement seemed a bit high, so I did a little experiment. I weighed myself first thing in the morning (172.0 lbs, 15.6% BF, 42.4% MM, 63.7% W). I then drank 1 liter of water (2.2 lbs) and weighed myself again (174.0 lbs, 16.2% BF, 42.1% MM, 63.2% W). According to the scale, I gained 1.356 lbs of body fat, 0.404 lbs of water, and 0.326 lbs of muscle. I should also mention that the BF measuring device at the gym says I am at 11% BF. Based on how I look I would say I am between 10 and 11%. So if you just want a scale that tracks your weight in an app, this scale will work fine. If you are interested in BF measurement, I wouldn't get this one.
