TP-LINK AC1750 Wi-Fi Range Extender (RE450)
Purchased this because my TP-link AC router is on one side of my house. The master bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from the router. Tried watching Plex/Netflix with my Amazon Fire Stick but was getting little to no wifi signal. After using this Extender my 5ghz network signal was as high as it could be.
Super simple to install!
Plug in near router
Join the wireless network broadcast from the TP-Link Wi-fi Range Extender
Login in to the TP-Link R.E. website
Do a search for your home wifi name
login with your wifi password
Let the TP-Link R.E. reboot
Plug into an outlet that still receives a wifi signal
Tip: use a new name for the rebroadcasted signal so you don't accidentally connect to the weak broadcast since the new and old wifi signals will be named the same so your device may auto connect to the weaker one.
