***Please see updated review below*** I wanted to like these. I bought them since since they looked pretty sturdy and the specs & reviews were good...but 1 cable was defective on arrival. Additionally, the right angle / 270 degree adapter was missing. The cables are too stiff, and the rubber around the plugs is too thick for TVs that have limited clearance to the HDMI ports, such as the TCL 43S305 43-Inch 1080p Roku Smart LED TV (2017 Model) (Please see picture). I ended up filing one of them with a Mill file: see picture. My concern is that this could exert unnecessary pressure on the HDMI ports' solder joints...maybe it won't be a problem, but why gamble? Amazon refunded these on the spot, due to one cable not working and the missing adapter, but I think I'll probably go with Amazon Basics, etc. ARC support: I can't say for certain: while my receiver is an old Sony with HDMI; I don't think it had ARC capability, but different cables could prove otherwise. UPDATE: 6.16.2017 SPN contacted me (I did 'not' contact them at all) with the following message: "This is Hailey from SPN Performance, I'm reaching out in regards to the issues confronted with the 3ACHB6 cables by Twisted Veins that you have purchased. First of all I wanted to apologize for the faulty cable, the missing angle connector, the issues with the ARC and the size of the head of the cables. Second I wanted to explain a little bit better the reason for the stiffness and offer a solution. The reason for the stiffness is due to the extra shielding. Since we noticed with just the standard shielding it was not enough protection for the cable to be a durable one. Since we like to work on improvements based on our customers recommendations we then upgraded them by adding additional shielding. They are also premium cables with custom stronger connectors, gold plating, and a protective braided jacket. As stated you do have an option of cutting the very end of the blue nylon covering. You can then proceed to undo it from the cable till you remove it completely. You will then notice of the cable being less stiff. As for the missing 270 degree angle connector I have processed a reshipment order on 2nd day air containing a replacement 3 pack of 6'HDMI cables which should include the 270 angle connector. Also since I saw in the picture that you posted that you are using more than HDMI cable connected to your TV, I have processed another reshipment containing a 3pack of angle connectors. All of our cables support HDMI Standard (Ethernet, Audio Return, 3D, 1080P). The cables that have been sent will be tested before they are shipped to you. As for the size of the head of the cables, this is the main reason why we include the adapter which you unfortunately didn't received in the first place. Thank you, Hailey - Customer Service Representative" Additionally, a full replacement of the cables was issued with: - 4 Angle adapters - 2 cleaning cloths - Several cable ties - 2 Keychain flashlights - All of this was sent SECOND DAY AIR. They went overboard to stand behind the product, and the angle adapters solve the problems shown in the pictures, so, I guess I can't really say it's a bad product...even if the cables are stiff; they are serious about customer support, and I was quite surprised that 'they' contacted 'me'. They stand behind their product, so I guess that you really can't ask anymore than that.
