I own a small 40 room motel. My housekeepers, some of whom have been working here for 10 years, complained that our less than year old vacuums were not getting the job done. After some research I bought one of these to test. My housekeepers LOVED it and it definitely was doing a better job cleaning the carpets. I bought 8 more of them and set the other fairly new vacuums of a different make and model out by the curb. In short: Experienced hotel housekeepers who vacuum every day say this is the best vacuum they have used in 10 years. Retractable cord is a big plus as well. That's all you need to know.
