Beautiful. Smaller than expected but really the perfect little size. Pages are heavier than regular paper and feel smooth. Cover is hard! Gold foil detail. Pocket in back! Tested with a liquid ink pen, pencil, and regular ballpoint pen. Results are in pictures. The pages do show ink and promise nail, but if you write lightly with a pencil you shoukd be able to use front and back. Pages tear out cleanly.
