I never would have thought I'd be purchasing a grooming table, but here I am.... grooming! About a year ago I adopted a Maltese. Having never owned a high-maintenance dog before, I was content to let the experts groom her. Well, her grooming past is murky and she ended up being an emotional mess following grooming sessions. We thought we had it figured out but then she had another bad spell. It hurt to see her in that state for so many days. So I decided to take over the grooming responsibility. I was already giving her bathes in between grooms so why not. First I purchased clippers to see how that would go. It went pretty good but my husband had to hold the leash to keep her still. Next step was a grooming table and what I read about this one made me think it would be perfect for us and I was right. I can put it just about anywhere so even if my back is giving me trouble, I can get the job done. I'm going slow and clipping/trimming her a little here and there. I took photos of my Maltese on the table (6 pounds) but also wanted to show that I can put my bigger dogs on the table as well. I have a 14 pound Terrier and a 12 pound Chiweeni, both shown in the photos on the table although neither of them have need of being groomed on a table. ***whew*** One goofy dog is enough for me! It's portable, swivels, bar adjusts, easy to clean, non slip surface and did I mention that it swivels?! Oh yeah! I'm a happy amateur dog groomer and my dog approves.
