This really cuts down on the time it takes to prepare anything. You will not have to wipe down the sides of your bowl when using this blade and it pretty much makes the KitchenAid blade obsolete. However, make sure you adjust your mixer to the perfect level so it wipes the bowl but does not hit the bowl (and therefore break or make noise). The image with instructions on how to adjust your mixer is available in one of the customer images. Also, make sure you get the right blade for your mixer. There is a website page that lists the KitchenAid mixers and which blades correspond to each. I will link it at the end (sadly Amazon removed link) but I thought it would be a snap to just list them here as well. I hope this helps! You are supposed to match the first 3-4 digits of the model with the blade (basically, you don't need the last part of the model number that includes the color of your mixer).
