My grandson (12) and I (very old according to my granddaughter) like this stylus for the exact reasons that others didn't like it - it's short and bulky. I can't tell you why I like short pens and pencils but I find them more satisfying to write with. My grandson has always preferred fatter writing utensils and I have arthritis and I can't hold skinny objects well. Although my fingers are thin, I am more accurate with my kindle using a stylus than by touch. The price is reasonable. Incidentally, I also recommend these: 4-Pack Mini 0.7mm Mechanical Pencils Rubber Grip, Eraser. They are the best short, fat mechanical pencils I have found.
