First things first: someone idiotic has combined several different JETech products all into ONE page on Amazon; consequently these reviews contain contradictory statements, due to the fact that they are for DIFFERENT PRODUCTS. Since I can't fix that for you, I will point it out, and announce that this review is for the following product: JETech® iPhone 4/4S Case Bumper Shock-Absorption Bumper and Anti-Scratch Clear Back for Apple iPhone 4/4S (Black) If you want to see the other products on this page, go up and choose a different "Color" (even though in many cases the differences are far more significant than mere color). Moving on to the iPhone 4 Case Bumper Shock-Absorption Bumper and Anti-Scratch Clear Back for Apple iPhone 4/4S (Black); this product is outstanding. It fits like a glove. The material is the perfect combination of grippy (to help you hold onto the phone and prevent it from sliding off of smooth surfaces) and slippy (so it doesn't cling to the cloth lining of your pockets or purse). It is not too bulky, unlike some of the super-robust cases (The Otterbox is better at shock absorption, but let's face it: it's huge), but seems like it would provide some impact protection from a shallow drop (say ~3 feet/ ~1 meter onto concrete). I am not going to test my theory and risk my phone to find out if I'm wrong, but that's my amateur assessment. As other reviewers have mentioned, the case looks sharp, and like a factory-designed extension of the phone. The covers for the volume buttons and sleep button are a trifle stiff, but not too bad - they still work fine, and I am hoping over time they will limber up. The hole at the bottom fits perfectly around the Apple-supplied power cord, but a no-name aftermarket cord is a little tight and hard to fit. No problems with the earphone jack. The hole around the rear camera is large enough that photos with the flash on don't get light refracted back into the lens like they do on some other cases. Of the 3 cases I ordered for my phone, this is the one I will be using.
