Ok, my bedroom is too light in the morning and my wife doesn't care and it drives me crazy but I'm too lazy to install blocking shades. So I gave these a shot and I was really pleasantly surprised. I've used eye shades provided by airlines and they're always pretty bad. These, though, super comfortable, stayed in place well, and blocked 99% of any light - I had just a slight hairline of light on one side of my nose that I could see only when I opened my eyes, and what very little light did manage to slide through went away when I closed my eyes. Pitch black. That's another cool thing about these, you can open your eyes when they're on, there's room inside. Money well spent.
