I have used saunas in various gyms to aid with my workout regime and due to the recent covid-19 precautions I was relegated to looking for other options. I ran across this item and was excited about the price and potential use in home. Delivery was via USPS ( delayed shipping). INSTALLATION: When I got the device I pulled out instructions manual only to be transported back to pre -kindergarten age 5. With a picture graph and minimal instructions on assembly. ALSO THERE WERE SEVERAL MISSING PIECES IN THE BOX ( more on that later) after about an hr of piecing together the leggo blocks-esqe design the structure was up . It comes with three carbon panels that are connected to the sauna via a tiny clip and two flimsy Velcro straps that at best makes the inside look like a poorly constructed teepe tent. There also was an LED light in a separate Box with no instructions leading the consumer to just “figure it out “ ( more in that later) CUSTOMER SERVICE : After 30 min of searching an empty box for poles that were in the instructions as as a pivotal point to make the structure sturdy and also getting a box with a lisght with no instructions on instal or operations I called the number in the book for customer service. I was greeted by a semi-knowledgeable person that advised that he did not know how to assist with islnstall assistance and the he would send an email that I would have to complete for the missing pieces ( chair, top brackets for tent , remote for light to operate and better instructions) when asking what the ETA of either contact email or shipment of vital pieces after said completions of email, the answer was - “complete the email and we will see”. ( not making this up ) EASE IF USE: Aside from the above , the product itself does what has been expected , it goes up to 140 degrees and I have had it between 107-110. Ease to get in and out and you get a great sweat and detox . The first two uses you have to stomach the new tire smell inside the tent but after that it becomes more manageable . And you can go to a local sports store and get a conventional folding tailgate/camper chair to fit in the space in the interim if you are missing said component. FINAL THOUGHTS: If the issues of missing equipment, better install instructions, better attachments for the panel , better instructions on LED install , and more knowledgeable and helpful customer service. This would be a rating of 5stars ... the most I can give is 3 and this is ONLY based on the usage of the sauna itself. 11 month update : SAUNA works perfectly. Found out by research to place footpad UNDER the below pad and it will aid in not burning your feet and also assist with heating up sauna as it becomes an additional heating source. I will raise to 4 stars for the awesome working of the sauna close to a year later .
