I have been using these in my basement for the past 2 years. I am amazed at how well they work. I do not have a very damp basement, but it's still a concrete basement and can get that basementy smell. No More Smell - they last longer than 60 days, I hang 3 at a time and replace when the water bag is full. I do this all year round and it saves $$ from leaving a dehumidifier running all year. Buying on amazon is a good $$ saver too. As a frequent Amazon shopper, I rely on honest feedback to make my purchasing decisions.
